I’m Shondy Monroe — a real estate investor, business credit coach, and speaker with a heart for helping ambitious individuals rebuild, refocus, and rise.
I’m the founder of Dream 12 Properties, Inc., a residential redevelopment company born out of struggle, rebuilt with faith, and scaled with strategy.
My work is rooted in real-world experience — not just the wins, but the setbacks that taught me how to lead and build lasting success.
From filing bankruptcy to coming back stronger after the 2008 crash, I know what it’s like to lose everything… and fight to create something meaningful.

The Setback That Shaped Me:
I’ve filed bankruptcy.
I’ve lost everything.
And I’ve questioned whether I was truly called to more — or if “getting by” was all there was.
At one point, I was tired of paycheck-to-paycheck living… tired of showing up to a job that didn’t ignite my passion… tired of feeling like wealth and freedom were reserved for “other people.”
Even when I didn’t have it all figured out, one thing was clear:
I wanted freedom.
I wanted legacy.
I wanted to build something that mattered.
When It All Fell Apart:
Before Dream 12 Properties, we were already in real estate — but when the 2008 market crashed, everything we had built was wiped out.
We lost properties.
We lost momentum.
And we had to start over — just like thousands of others.
The pain was real, but it planted a seed that would later become the foundation of a much stronger future.
The Rebuild:
Fast forward nearly nine years…
In 2017, we made our comeback — this time, with renewed purpose and vision.
Dream 12 Properties was born.
Not just to flip houses, but to build a legacy.
Not just to invest for profit — but to show others what’s possible when you refuse to quit.
Every project we complete today is a reminder of where we started… and how perseverance, strategy, and faith make anything possible.
